CDS Architecture Overview
YospaceCDS is a managed and hosted service for transcoding or delivering mobile video. It can be used as a content store, where client applications can upload content for pre-processing or transcoding, alternatively it can used as an on-the-fly encoding and delivery system for transcoding or splicing advertising into video content currently available on the web.
Suitable for both Mobile and Web applications
While YospaceCDS is designed to complement a web-orientated video delivery proposition, it has the necessary capabilities to deliver video on the Web. This is particularly convenient if you are building a "converged" mobile/web application and want to have a single provider for your video processing and delivery requirements.
White-label mobile video portal or distribution through EyeVibe®
The EyeVibe mobile video community is powered by a sophisticated mobile community platform Yospace has been evolving since 2001. This platform, now integrated with YospaceCDS provides a sophisticated and flexible video portal with a powerful set community-building features that you can white-label. Features include:

YospaceCDS allows you to assign pools of "advert" creatives with your content and track the viewer impressions. Mobile Streaming Delivers a First-Class User Experience
On compatible devices and networks, streaming arguably delivers the best user experience for video. YospaceCDS allows you to offer "stop-resume" playback option, allowing your users to resume watching a video from where they previously stopped. No size or length limits on video content
YospaceCDS supports both very short-form content through to feature-length films. The "stop-resume" functionality (see above) it offers to any handset capable of mobile streaming makes it particular suited to delivering long form content to mobile users.
Time-based access for pay-per-view content
If you intend to provide pay-per-view content, YospaceCDS provides time-based access to content through its token-based URL scheme. The video clip will no longer be served once the time window that you specify has passed.
